Artists Kirsten Zirngibl and Graham Toms opened a discussion on The Metaverse, the new developments in AI generated imagery and their impact on the arts. Moderated by Guy Kinnear.

Kirsten Zirngibl is a freelance concept artist and 2D/3D illustrator currently residing in the USA. She has developed game illustration, interaction design, and has also exhibited large scale work at Burning Man and multiple art museums in the United States. Escapism is a driving force in her work, with a current focus on constructing places of growth, life, and how we might make our own world better. Graham Toms is a visual artist in digital and traditional media, he is also a lead instructor in design technology and has worked in film production including Sony Pictures Classics Tim’s Vermeer. His design is a bunch of drawn symbols depending on the absence of consciousness. His research works in tandem with design production in creating exploratory dialog of mark, and semiotic discourses which are not random, but overlapping interconnected narratives.
